I smell your pain. Our oldest yorkie (during potty training) chose to pee on our dining room rug (it was green). When I called a professional cleaner he said that even steam cleaning would not get out all the smell so he advised us to take our rug outside and hose it down with a high pressure sprayer. Before we did this I sprayed it real good with the urine off . It helped a little but every time it rains I can still smell urine. We have given up and removed all the carpet in our living/dining room and are installing solid wood floors. |
