Don't feel too guilty about leaving your baby. I think we all go through this horrendous guilt when really we shouldn't. I do have a dog walker that comes in midday to give mine a little TLC and to also break up the day for them but I'm pretty sure mine sleep while we are at work. I know if I have a day off and I'm home, they still sleep most of the day. I think it does help if you have more than one because they keep each other company. Mine do have free reign in most of the house and fortunately, both of mine are pretty laid back so I don't have to worry about them tearing up the place. The worst is coming home to an occasional pee puddle because Biscuit has decieded to lift his leg on something. He goes through fazes like that. I can't explain it and it drives me nuts but he's so darn cute, it's hard to get mad at him.
