Sometimes dead hair becomes tangled with new, healthy coat...it is done by combing it out, not cutting it off...the dead hair is not at the ends, but tangled in the roots..if you can comb her down to the skin, then all dead hair is gone..Yorkies lose hair the way humans so..they do not shed, but the dead hair comes out when we brush it...never bathe a knotted puppy..you will never get the mats out...just keep brushing and combing as you a are doing and use good shampoos and conditioners... |
