She is adorable! I love that little face -- but that coat....hmmmm. I don't know if it is damaged, cottony, or wiry. I guess it could just be an in-between stage as the puppy down is coming out. Not sure.
Are you brushing her dry? Need to be sure to spray with a detangler/grooming type mix before brushing. Maybe order some Missing Link supplement? Fish oil? It seems dry, is the skin flaky at all? What food are you using?
If it is a wiry coat, a breeder I know has a beautiful silky coated female that she told me had a wiry coat that looked horrible for her first several months. Hopefully one of the breeders will check in this thread and be able to give you a better idea of what to expect or what you might be able to do to help. |
