My fingers are goners... I am going through the same thing. I've tried everything, and I mean everything. The bitter apple she only stays away from for like 5 minutes, when it's really potent, then she comes and licks it. The water spraying bugs her but it seems like she'd rather not sacrifice chewing and she'll deal with the water. Time out seems to be working but I feel so bad. I confine her in a small space, like a walk in closet or bathroom for likr 5 minutes. But after about 10 minutes she's back to chewing. But normally it only takes her 2 minutes to get back to it. I've even tried saying nice words in her ear, and being loving about it, but nothing works. She doesn't give a hoot about the word NO!. I've tried yelping but that only makes her growl. I'm a desperate housewife, minus the wife part. I love her so much and she's so cute but I just wish she'd stop biting. She has SOOOOO many toys, including freezer chew toys for dogs. I've tried just about everything, but she doesn't want to give up her toes and finger biting. What if we got that high pitched whistle that dogs hate? Do you guys think that would work? |
