Hi IheartZoe. First off I would like to say how beautiful Zoe is. Second, I would like to share with you that it isn't necessarily that bad that in one week you haven't "bonded" with her. Take a moment and think how you would feel if you opened a door right now and she got lost or if you found out something was wrong with her. Bet you got a knot in your tummy. I didn't feel I had bonded to my Tia but when I was challenged with the same questions, boy I knew I'd kill if anything happened to her!! Now I'd like to share with you my experience with my Tia as many of my YT supporters know what I've just been through. I have no judgement about how you are feeling... actually I really understand. But YT has alway been a place for me to educate myself so I pray you will find this post. I have 2 yorkies, Bailey who is 5.5 pounds and full grown and Tia who is 2.5 pounds and fully grown. Tia has not been sickly or has had hypoglycemic attack but one day saw thew cat jump off the couch and she went after her. All she did was jump off the couch and broke her leg. Well the vet bills have now added up to $1500.00 and we are still counting (and this didn't include any travel expenses to get to a specialist). The hardest choice I had to make was do we spend this money to get her leg fixed and what guarantees do we have it won't happen again. All she did was jump off the couch. Now that the leg is almost healed and the bills have become an excepted part of our life, I can't help but think what will I do if she does it again? I just wanted to share this with you because I promised myself that after what I had been through with Tia that I would share this with anyone posted that they thought they wanted a little yorkie. They are cute and draw a lot of attention and I get many people saying how they would love to have a dog this small, but I wonder how they would feel about the vet bills I have occurred. Just really think about what you want. It sounds to me like you have a sweet Yorkie that you can enjoy and not have the worries the little guys will give you. Best of luck with your decision!
