Our boyz both have long hair but we keep their tails cut short...like in a little wedge. I started a thread a long time ago called 'Tail Talk' and it has the pictures...here's a link...hopefully it will work:

I should ad that the thread was last March and their hair is a lot longer now but we still keep their tails short.
