[Baby Blessing]

Today in remembering Cassie I have sat down here and wrote a poem once again for her, this may be the last poem, I will never forget her and part of me is always with her, I know she is in God's keeping and it is time that God is telling me to let go and to enjoy the life of our Baby Blessing and that he is caring for our Cassie FOREVER.

Fourteen months ago today that we had to let you go,
The days have been long and we have missed you so.

Your leaving us was a day that we did so dread,
I have cried a river of tears lest have no more left to shed.

I think of the many wonderful memories to cherish,
Thankful to God they will never perish.

I look to the heavens above and God allows me to see,
You are with him at peace and happy to be.

With you in God's arms forever through eternity,
He's taking care of you for Daddie and me.

Knowing this, I'm not crying anymore,
God has helped me to look beyond Heaven's door.

I will always love you and be thankful to have been blessed,
You are within God's keeping we could not ask for less.

Thank you God for loving us so,
In giving Cassie back to you we have learnt to let go.

One day we will be there to hold her again,
Please give her a hug and kiss for us till then.

When that door opens and we come in,
Forever happiness will be without any end.

Thank you God for loving us so,
Sending your son for us to know.

Letting Cassie go, thought we could never,
Time has helped us in knowing she is with you FOREVER.


Thanks to the many, many Yorkie Talkers that have helped our hearts to heal along the way.
