Hello everyone! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Shannon and I have been lurking here for a looonnngg time reading everything I can absorb before getting a splitting headache from staring at the computer screen.
I've wanted a yorkie for a long time, and have spent months and months learning what I can about the breed and trying to find a breeder I like near here. These forums have been a wonderful resource for my pre-yorkie research, and I look forward to learning a lot more.
I've got lots of animals, including other dogs, birds, and lots of horses, but yesterday I FINALLY got my first yorkie! You can see her in my avatar. Her name is Lola and she just turned 6 months old. She's absolutely precious and I couldn't be more in love with her. I would love to get into showing yorkies eventually, and maybe Lola will be my start with that. Besides Lola and my other critters, I have a 2 1/2 yr old daughter and a husband who tolerates me and my animals surprisingly well.
