Ok I always read on this forum about small or tiny yorkies being prone to all kinds of sickness and illness.

My main issue is this small yorkies are yorkies and are prone to illnesses that affect all yorkies regardless of size.

Can anyone name anything that is prone to the small ones exclusively? I doubt it.

I am a little tired and annoyed at hearing oh their subject to all kinds of sicknesses, when someone comes on this site asking about a small one.

Just had to say that.

I understand your position but at the same time you can't deny that the little ones are MORE likely to get sick or injured because they are sometimes not strong enough to handle the same things that bigger yorkies would. I don't think anyone is saying that the tiny's are going to get a sickness big ones wouldn't, I think everyone means that they are more likely to have a more difficult recovery time, and may be more prone to a serious injury due to their size. There are more opportunities for tiny's to get hurt and potentially not be strong enough to get over the smallest sickness.

I do believe these little ones take more time to heal So I do agree with this. And if these tiny's jump from the back of the couch etc yeah they are going to get a broken leg or worse. But that can also happen with Larger animals, My pittbul 85 lbs had broke its leg and hip, so any size can have accidents. The little ones you have to care for more and constantly watch out for I agree. But yeah they can be healthy and live a long life.

What I don't get is people that will say Don't get a tiny they are sick or that they will become sick.
and I agree tiny's are not for everyone. So I'm also glad that people can get answers to their questions about tiny's here. But there is a way of dong that.......What I get sick of is the same people with tiny's telling people not to get one, People who set typing with two tinies on their lap......Ok the first one They say they didn't plan for him/her to be that small, and the second one? well I wanted that one to have a playmate so I searched for one as small or smaller. That's what I don't get .How can one person tell someone they are crazy to get a tiny then go out and buy one their self? My two are 5 lbs and that to me is tiny. Would I want one smaller? Maybe would I want one bigger Maybe. But that's for the person who wants one to decide ..Just like the ones with tiny's have done. so why bash someone else that wants a tiny? Its their money its their responsibility. It great to offering warnings about how much more a tiny needs to be cared for, But I see it too, People not warning but bashing or just being plain rude.
