What I'm trying to express is referring to illnesses, not injuries. I scream when I see my friend's 9 pound poodle jumps off the couch let alone a 1 lb 2 oz chihuahua. I think all toy dogs are not meant for couch jumping.
But issues like hypoglycemia are not only relevant to tinies or small yorkies, it affects the whole breed. All yorkies can get stressed out.
There are certain illnesses that affect the breed as a whole and sometimes I feel we on here skirt that problem and make it out to affect only the small or tiny yorkies which is not true. I have been a member on this board for almost a year and though I don't post all the time I read and follow most of what's written here and there is not enough talk about owning a yorkshire terrier as there is about a teacup.
