imho, superstitions have as much power over your fate as you give it. you can always find "proof" that the superstition is true in varying circumstances. but the fact of the matter is, you are the master of your own fate, not some random cosmic saying that's been handed down for generations. you will experience changes in life that will effect your health, wealth, and career, but can every negative impact be attributed to you owning a dog? and will the lack of a pet dog prevent negative impact to your life? can you know that to an absolute certainty? is it only because you were born in the year of the dragon? i honestly doubt it.

owning a dog may negatively impact your health, wealth, and career. pets can carry worms and diseases into your home thereby effecting your health. pets can get sick and need extensive medical care at a considerable cost thereby effecting your wealth. pets can have emergencies and caretaking needs that would hinder you from various jobs, thereby effecting your career. but that applies to everyone, regardless of your zodiac sign.

my parents keep telling me that having two male dogs in the same household will cause disharmony in the household. do i have disharmony in the house now that i have two male dogs? sure, they fight every so often. but i'm sure if i had two children of any sex, there will be more "disharmony and fights" in the house than if i had no children and no pets. so i just think this superstition thing is a lot of silliness.

rather than being troubled by superstitions, consider some tangible concerns. what's your schedule right now, can you accomodate the responsibilities of training a new puppy? what's your financial situtation right now, can you accomodate the additional expense of dog ownership? can you line up friends or family to watch your yorkie if you are away for any reason? do you have any pet restrictions where you live? are there responsible breeders in your area from whom you'd consider purchasing a yorkie?

do all the proper research first and don't worry about silly superstitions.
