I have a new yorkie puppy. She is 15 weeks old and I have had her for 4 weeks. Her coat has grown alot but it is very fuzzy, especially on her back. Her color is still black but the roots on her back and head look silver. I am wanting to know if could be her puppy coat and maybe it will get silky or if her coat will always be fuzzy. I bathe and conditoner her once a week. I have tried leaving a little conditoner in and that helped a little. About 3-4 days after her bath her hair on her head is really oily and the hair on her back looks a little better. When do they loose their puppy coat? Does she need to be groomed to get the puppy coat off? I think it is soo cute but it matts very easy. Any suggestions?
