 Question about Emergency Vets?
I don't really understand about using an emergency vet vs using your regular vet.
The there are 6 vets at the animal clinic I use. All six are incredible -- highly skilled vets with great people skills. I love them all. When I have an after hours emergency I call the clinic, their answering service takes my name and number and forwards it to the "vet on call" who returns my call within minutes. If the problem warrants an emergency visit then I just meet the vet at the practice --
The whole process from initial call to getting to the clinic usually takes no more than 20 to 30 minutes. The charges have always been very reasonable -- to date, I have never been charged more than mroe than $200 an emergency visit -- I was billed for the amount due during the regular end of the month billing cycle.
Is this so unusual? |
