I am there with you...Maximus does the same thing...I have a water bottle..and it takes a few squirts before he gets the idea...I FELT SO BAD AT FIRST....He was sopping wet..but he is getting better..the minute he seesa me pick it up, he stops..he was a bitter apple licker also..lol..., you have to say a firm "DO NICE" and if he continues you have to squirt him...I hope it helps, every dog is a little differnt
