I cannot believe how picky these little dogs can be. Pookie only eats one brand for a couple of days and then she turns up her nose. It is a pain. Yesterday, she barely ate at all. She turned her nose up at her regular food, so I wound up making her a scrambled egg, feeding her some yoghurt and cottage cheese to round it out. In desperation, I went to the store and got Cesars for her which she loves right now. Who knows how long that will last.
And I know it's not the best for her, but better that than nothing. I'm already figuring out what to try next because I'm afraid it won't last. I worry constantly about her, thinking she must have something wrong with her when she won't eat. It's stressful. |
