Hi. I am Sammi and I am brand new here. This is my first time ever joining
any forum. I would like to thank Bettyanne (Toto's Mom) for helping me figure out where to start.
I will be getting my baby around the 24th of this month and I am so excited. Although she is a year old, she will still be my baby. Her name is Sassy and I can't wait to bring her home. Her photo can be seen at

Although I am a webmaster and graphic artist, I have no idea how to upload photos here in this forum and this is much easier for me.
I have been reading many, many of the posts here and have found, for the most part, that they have been very informative and helpful to me. Some of them have been pretty scary, though. I am looking forward to learning much from all of you as I get to know Sassy.
I do have one major concern at the moment...I am wondering how she will take being separated from her now family since she is already a year old. They have promised me that she can bring her blankie with her and I am hoping this will help. Any advice would be appreciated.
