Just to let you know, there is APR and APRI.
APRI is the better of the two whereas APR will register just about any dog. If I remember correctly, your dog must have papers from certain registeries only to be registered with APRI unless the parents are all ready registered under them and then the puppies would be also.
But you can't register an APRI dog as AKC. AKC is stricter with their rules.
AKC is still the oldest and most trusted registry although I can understand why some choose alternative registeries like APRI because of problems with AKC but even I prefer to have most of my dogs registered with AKC. |
