When I travel someone usually stays in the car with Max and Abbie if we stop somewhere. Abbie doesn't travel well as it is so she freaks out and barks her little head off until you get back into the car. The ONLY time they are unattended is when I drive to my parents' house by myself and I need a potty break
. The I usuall park the car so it is visible and run in and out and quickly as I can. I'm always afraid of someone breaking in an stealing them--yes, I'm paranoid
. I've not taken them to a hotel but I would never leave them unattended there if we needed to stay in a hotel. It's not just them--I never leave valuables in a hotel room.
