I bathe Sissy once a week and if I go an extra day or two, she looks disheveled and greasy. We use Buddy Wash & Buddy Rinse along with the conditioning spray. I haven't used the spray regularly, but will begin as she has had lots of breakage, particularly where her hair gets done up.
Oatmeal products are recommended for dry skin. I know that Petsilk has an oatmeal formula. Dry skin can also be from allergies, so check your food for corn or other known allergens as well.
