He definately looks like he could use some love but I would not be paying purebred Yorkie prices for him. There might be some Yorkie in there but I think there is a whole lot of something else too. Some are not careful enough with their breeding. They may see them tie with another Yorkie but before or after they are also getting tied with the neighbor dog -- then you get a litter of puppies that some may be purebred and some may be mixed. This little one is a mix. If both his parents look like Yorkies, then one of them is a mix too and just got lucky to look like the Yorkie parent.
I don't know if it is dachshund mixed in or a beagle or what -- it is too hard to say -- just know that there is definately something else in there. He will probably make a fine pet but if you want a pure Yorkie -- find another breeder! |
