nydia, there was no need to be nasty and defensive in your response to troubletb. it's unrealistic to expect everyone to have followed your story regarding sabrina to know it was an accident. and there are plenty of new dog owners out there who may not be as careful with their female in heat and plenty of "accidents" happen due to owner neglect. imho the tone of your response was unnecessary.

regarding sabrina's puppies, leaving the dewclaws and tail undocked is best. let the new owners make that decision for their new baby. there's always that option when neutering and spaying is scheduled. my vet talked me out of removing the front dewclaws because she believed it was like amputation to a 4 month old puppy.

aside from that, i think it's time to find a new vet.
