As long as they are potty trained they can sleep on the bed with me. Right now I have Destiny and Trixie sleeping on the bed with me. Peppi prefers her own bed which is on the floor next to my bed but on an occasion she will sleep in my bed with me. Scampers sleeps in the bed with me too, but Destiny is in heat so he is sleeping is his crate for now. Once Destiny is completely out of heat, he will be back to sleeping on the bed with me.
They say not to let your dog sleep on the bed with you because it will harm your alpha role as the pack leader. But I don't believe this to be true one bit. All my dogs accept me as the pack leader and having them sleep on the bed with me doesn't make any difference. It is hard to resist, they have such cute faces and love cuddling and sleeping on the bed with me. |
