Eww, anything going through the emergency cost so much more, even down here in el-chepo AL. And the first thing they want is your credit card! No credit card, no vet to see your animal. Greedy ba#%ards.
I know my vet is much cheaper here than what I see in other parts of the country. I've seen more than double on here for spays than what I paid for a spay, microchip, and blood work on venus last month.
Sad they get you in the pocket. And I agree vets need to be into this for the love of animals, not the cash.
I think there ought to be a cap on what an emergency clinic can charge. |
