Yes I agree with BLowry I wouldn't put the food and water in the crate because that may cause your pup to have to poop and pee in the crate the three times you mentioned you feed him/her is fine so you don't have to leave the food in the crate......I also suggest getting a playpen.....I have one for Bailey and when I do find a job and go to work
that is what Bailey will be in with his puppy pads, toys, bed. What I was suggested in the Petsmart training classes is to give him one of them king kong toy things with the food in the middle that will keep your pup occupied. I also use the crate as just for sleep time at night.....These are just suggestions..Hope all goes well
