I have to admit that I don't talk to my mom often but . . . my oldest daughter and I talk a million times a day . . . and during the night . . . and at 4:30 AM when my granddaughter is throwing up . . . and . . . well . . . all the time!!
I wouldn't know what to do without hearing from my daughter all day every day.
I guess the relationship that I have with my children is a more loving and supportive relationship that what I had/have with my mom. My children can tell me anything - nothing shocks me and they know I'll be supportive.
