If the groomer knew what she was doing and was using the proper equipment it would be almost impossible to scratch the dog with clippers. Where were these scratches? For those who say they cut out matts with sissors instead of clippers you are actually more likely to cut your dog. You won't find a groomer cutting matts out with sissors.
