I really want to like them but I swear their the one dog that just turns me into a statue. But in their defense - I don't think enough people treat them as well as they should and their natural agression just comes out. My uncles pitt was such a big baby - I didn't know to be scared of him back then and really had no reason to be.
I'd hate to see a breed banned though. BUT - then again - if my child ormy yorkies ware attacked knock on wood....(Man I sound like my mother with that one) ......I don't know how I'd feel. |

Maybe heated wasn't the right word...sarcastic would be the better word...
I also know a couple of people that own pits...and they shouldn't...to be quite honest...I love all animals and do feel bad for this breed but, because they WERE bred (and some still are) for fighting it just makes the breed look bad..I just have a hard time trusting them...All dogs (pedigree) are know for something wether it be their gentle nature or aggressiveness, hard to potty train, hyper or laid back...Pits just happen to be one of those breeds that are known for being aggressive...I'll tell ya...I would much rather be bitten by one of my little ankle biters than latched onto by a Pit!
And I love ya too V!...LOL
