My vet said that they like to run the blood work to be sure that they won't have any complications with the anesthesia.
Good luck on the decision. |
I would love to have peace of mind too but blood work here do not costs $25.They cost less than $100 but close to that hence I'd like to find out about the concept of blood work and full blood work to know what kind I will be going with. I do not want to go to the vet knowing nothing. When I am there tomorrow for the pre-surgical screening and blood work, I guess I will ask them in detail. I did do some research from the Internet and said to check on infection, anemia, kidney and liver function from the blood work but they did not mention if its a full bloodwork or basic.
