I didn't care to spend the extra for the blood work but I figured the $25 will give me more of a piece of mind. Oddly enough they found that his levels for his kidney function was high so they are going to rerun the test at their cost in house just to make sure he has no kidney problems before they do his neuter.

My vet said that they like to run the blood work to be sure that they won't have any complications with the anesthesia.
