Blood work before anesthesia is not optional at my vet. I don't know if there is a difference between standard and full bloodwork, but I can tell you that Sissy's bloodwork was $65.00.
I seem to remember someone mentioning on a recent post that they chose the extra tests for liver shunt and that ran $30 - so I don't know if this is the difference or not.
