Yes... I have two (dad and daughter) yorkies that are solid gold. I thought they might be chocolate at first, but when I contacted the yorkie doctor with AKC, he said the chocolate's have liver colored noses and liver colored eye rims. My pups have black noses and eye-rims. He said it was a recessive gene and shouldn't creat any color-related health issues. Connor (the male) is fixed, as I want to concentrate on AKC standard colors only. But I thought he was sooo pretty. We did have two litters from him in the beginning, but after talking to AKC we decided to stick to the standard. So we did have some gold babies. I sold them for 'vet costs' only to friends who were looking for a pet only.

Now I don't know what to think of Sammie!!! The really blonde and black one. Both her parents were full-blooded yorkies. We may also just sell her pups as 'pet only' babies. We are currently training her for 'Dog Therapy' work right now. She's doing really well. We hope to get her involved with visiting and working with children with cancer or other illnesses. We have MD Anderson and Texas Children's Hospitals close by. So that our dream. She's a wonderful puppy.

Right now we only breed Mylan and Pixie. You can see their pics in my Avatar.

Thanks for your kind words....
