I take her out around the clock. After she eats, sleeps, naps, plays, and anytime else we can squeeze in. Her eating schedule is down pat, so I know she poos after breakfast and after dinner. She sometimes sleeps all night (8:30-6:30), but when she can't make it all night, I get up and take her outside to PP. Then it's back to bed for the rest of the night. She will go to the door and sit there, thinking some genie will open it for her. She never barks or anything. Somebody had better be watching, OR THERE IS AN ACCIDENT. I always take her out on a leash, even though our property is fenced. This tells her it's not playtime, but potty time. Working great.

This is the same thing I've been doing with our 5 month old yorkie Bailey and it has worked like a charm! Consistency is the key
