A pheromone is any chemical or produced by a living organism that transmits a message to other members of the same species. There are alarm pheromones, food trail pheromones, sex pheromones, and many others that affect behavior or physiology. I assume the pheromone used in this is a dog urine pheromone. I thought more people would have tried this product and didn't want to discourage anyone based soley on my experience. Here's two reviews on Amazon with adult dogs.
