I can and will answer this thread in two parts. If you are referring to "general pet shop purchases" then yes, I shop in a pet store all the time. Food, toys, general stuff, and whatever else tickles my fancy...
Then...If you are referring to purchasing "dogs" or "pets" in petstores then as of now no I would never do it again but have in the past.
Many years ago I was not mature in my knowledge of "where the proper place is to purchase pets". So, I have purchased Keeko a poodle, Gizmo a Pomeranian which was a gift, purchased from a petstore, and a Himilayan kitty I bought from a petstore. All were healthy and lived long lives.
Yet now as I have matured and grown. I have learned more truth and would never in my wildest dreams purchase another pet from a petstore and continue educating others in not doing the same.
Just remember though the next time you pass by a petstore and might want to do some "protesting" that those in there wanting to buy their dream baby pet, just might not be educated either so protest with a very kind heart and explain that their is probably a better place to buy their next sweet baby pet!
