I am so sorry you are going through this. It does sound like you are grieving though, little slip ups can happen as a result.
I would still do something special for your son's memorial - even if it is just you and the hubby and kids. Maybe light a special candle, read a poem or prayer outloud and each take a turn saying what he meant to you. It doesn't have to be big to be special.
