I bought the combo pack and just alternate between the two. I like the gel better, it's easier to get into their mouths. If you miss with the spray, it could go into their eyes, owie
With all the wiggling they do, it wouldn't be hard
Anyway, some of the gals here wrote just the other day that they think the gel works better, so I'd get the gel. When this set I got is gone, I'm just gonna go for the gel. My girls don't eat it voluntarily, but it's just a smidge they need, so just stick it in the mouth. It makes sense that the gel would work better, it's thicker.
It's good to still brush anyway, I get my girls about once a week or so. The little one brushes her own teeth by chewing on the brush, but I have to hold Izzy down. She's got gorgeous teeth, thank goodness
