Dobby is 12 weeks old, and his head is starting to turn more gold. I was looking at his hair yesterday and just noticed it...he totally has roots. It looks like he got a bad dye job..haha, with some serious gold roots (only about a centimeter) and black tips. His back is still fully black however, with no signs of color change.
