Default Dew claw removal and tail docking questions

Hello everybody,

As you all know by now my Sabrina had babies...they are seven days old today, I didn't know that vets won't do dew claws removals or tail docking if the babies are over 3 days old because if they are over 3 days old they have to be sedated...so my question is if I can't do it now, when would be a good time to get this done, I do not plan on keeping all of them, I have 3, if I was going to keep them I wouldn't even have the procedure done but since I am going to sell two of them I need to know an alternative time to get the dew claws removed and the tails docked...I was told if I must have it done then to wait around the time I am going to give them their first set of shots which will be in 4 more weeks, they say then it will be okay to sedate them because they will have their eye's open and by then will know how to walk and the doctors will have a better idea if they are in trouble or not from the sedation...please tell me what to do, I don't know what to do and I don't want to do the wrong thing I would hate to lose another baby.
