I got Tetley about a week and a half ago, and he'd never been left alone until today. He used to be with his brothers and sisters all the time, then I brought him home and always made sure someone was around to watch him. I figured today he was comfortable enough with us that I'd try leaving him for a short while...and you know what? I don't even think he noticed we left!
I put him in his pen in my bedroom, left the radio on for him, and not a whimper when we went out the door. I came back an hour later and he was snoozin'. I was a nervous wreck in the grocery store for nothing! Gee, I hope it's always this easy!
I don't want him to be super attached that we can't leave him alone, so I'm starting slow and building up the time we leave him by himself.
