I've had plenty of cats get stuck up trees. The only one I would go after would climb up the pine tree. So I would climb up, get all 25 lbs of him, sling him over my shoulder and climb down then spend the next couple of hours trying to get pine tar out of my hair and his, lol. This was a weekly thing. The other cats all came down on their own when they got hungry. Not to worry, it's what cat's do. Kona will be fine. They just like to keep us on our toes and make us nervous.
I had one cat that had her kittens about 10 feet up a tree in a hole in the trunk! I did have to bring the kittens down once they started moving around and getting close to the edge of the hole.
