I am a supervisor for accounts payable. I have never heard of an electronic bank check that arrives days after the fact.
When an electronic check is done through the bank it is available in 24hrs. and gets deposited into you personal account.
If it is an electronic transfer from one account to another it is available within hours depending on the bank.
Be very aware. This does not sound right by any means.
