Well...I cheated and I'm not even ashamed of myself!
My sister called yesterday and invited us over for lunch...my favorite nephew and his family were there from NC...he's in the Army but stateside for now. Anyway, he and my sister both have birthdays this week so I showed up with a surprize birthday cake with both of their names on it. Yes...I ate cake!! You have to understand...he's my
favorite nephew and he's spent 2 tours in Iraq already and made it home safely both times. I won't miss a day of enjoying his company and if that means I have to cheat on my diet...then I will! I'm back on track today though and no, I don't regret that piece of chocolate cake with buttercream/chocolate fudge frosting! I ate it for my country...I was supporting the good moral of our military...imagine how depressed he would have been if his favorite Aunt wouldn't eat a piece of his birthday cake.
