My Mom has GERD and she has a lot of your symptoms, the meds make her sick so she doesn;t take them and she weighs 82 lbs now. SHe is 87 years old though. The doctor did give her a Gerd Medicine I think it was Acipex or something like that and it is a disolvable tablet that she puts under her tounge so it doesn't go in her stomach.
