i understand what you are going through... my grandmother had her first stroke around thanksgiving 2005 it was a small one so she didnt want to go to the hospital i think she had another small one then a big one if she would have gone before the big one she prolli wouldnt have gotten paralyzed from it she can no longer talk and is bed ridden! Please make your father go to the doctor it just takes one bad one to change everything! Good luck!
