My husband bought me the SD600 for Christmas and while it is a great size, this thing is COMPLICATED!!! I don't know much about your model, but at least try it out for a while and see if you find it to be easy to operate. I bought my mom a Kodak easyshare and that thing takes great pics and is so user friendly. I want to take mine back, but it seems like I exchange everything he gets me and I just can't do it to him this time. He was so excited about this camera
