Some people may deal with the tragedy successfully and go to do more wonderful things but some never come out of it. It all depends on how the person deal with it and if there is someone there to talk to him and guide him along the way. Seeing someone loved died or dying in front of you in a tragic way...those type of memories usually will never be erased from one's brain and the shock of it can take months and months to sink in. I have been through it, not parents but a very close uncle.
