it didnt take us very long to get Luna in her crate... she really does love it. She is now 4 mons and since day one we put her to sleep every night in her shower/crate area always with the gate open. If she would cry, we wouldn't pay attention to her and just leave her. Now when I put her in her crate during the day she really doesnt whine much... only a little when she wants to play or be with us.
However, my father gave in to putting the play pen back up for her. It is more convenient for us and her. She does have more space and all and it's much easier when she miss behaves to put her in the play pen since there is no gate we have to shut. I really want to train her to go in her crate be herself...but it's difficult when my father thinks that's being mean to the dog lol...
yes, we are one in decisive family... we're always changing but what's important is that we are trying to find what's best for both Luna and us...
Surprisingly enough, somehow, Luna has behaved marvelous after I posted this. She isn't biting anymore. I say one stern NO (if she bites my hand) and she stops and begins to lick my hand. That is one thing that I am amazed about... she really did learn to not bite fast. BUT she still does run away from me when I'm trying to get something she shouldn't have in her mouth. I also went back to taking her out on her leash instead of letting her roam freely, I heard it shows them who really is the boss. I'm currently working on having her walk by my side and not being pulled by her. lol I feel so bad though because sometimes I hold her back and she coughs a bit. But I think she is getting that it'll hurt more if she runs faster than me... we'll see...
