for zoies pups I put a dot of paint-non tocix acrylic paint on their butts just about tail base. I rubbed the fur between my fingers to make sure to get it real wet with paint, then dott'd it. Zoie didn't like it off and it worked great. I liked the idea I didnt have to look in ears or toes to try to see who was doing what, just had to look at them and it was visable.
