Elaine makes a good point here - if looking for a playmate for your other yorkie who is 7 lbs, you may be far better off to find another yorkie around that size. If you do find a puppy that is 2lbs or so, it probably wouldn't be wise to leave him/her unattended with your other dog. When I brought my second puppy home, I had to keep a close eye on them when they were together and keep them separated when I was out because of the difference in size. Even just one pound difference in weight can make a huge difference in size - imagine a 4 or 5lb difference....

Good luck in your search - just be sure to do your research on the runts before committing to one. There is NOTHING wrong with wanting one - LOTS of people on here have them (myself included). The more research you do, the better off you and the new puppy will be!
